HWSRT200A Safe Route to Transit

During this project Inspected the installation of sidewalk extensions (bus bulbs/bulb-outs) at various locations at existing bus stops in the Bronx, to eliminate mid-roadway bus loading, to improve pedestrian and motor vehicle movement around public transit stops. Project scope includes, but not limited to field survey/inspection; mark-outs; field mapping; measurements and quantities; preparing construction cards and assessments; overseeing contractor’s daily activities; concrete sidewalk and curb construction; concrete testing; pavement resurfacing; utilities relocation; water mains, sewer, drainage; traffic signals; MPT; community outreach; and coordination with NYC agencies, including the NYCDOT Traffic and Lighting Divisions and utilities companies such as Con Edison, phone and cable. Duties involved inspection of major operations involving concrete, water main, sidewalk, curbs and pedestrian ramps; new street lighting, and MPT.
